Over the last few years, I've watched families in our community struggle to make ends meet in the face of out-of-control inflation. On top of that, they face the highest tax burden in the nation. I've seen job creators pushed out of Illinois by the same bad economic policies that make it hard to attract new companies and retain a qualified, educated workforce.

We have all seen the headlines about crime on the rise as Springfield politicians push dangerous "catch and release" policies that put the rights of criminals ahead of your family's safety. At the same time, they've made it harder and more dangerous for police officers to do their jobs. 

Like you, I'm sick of career politicians who have become entrenched insiders and lost touch with their constituents' needs and values. It's time for a new voice for Central Illinois. I'm not a career politician, and I won't become one. I believe in term limits and that now is the time for new perspectives and leadership in Springfield. 

In the Senate, I'll be the tireless advocate Central Illinois families need. As your voice in Springfield, I'll fight to bring relief to families crushed under the weight of inflation. I'll push for policies that actually hold criminals accountable and be a champion for our law-enforcement officers. I'll make sure parents have a voice in their children's education and ensure that our kids have the bright future they deserve.
